Description:

Textile waste is a growing global challenge. Syre’s mission is to decarbonize and dewaste textiles, starting with the world’s biggest fiber, polyester. By implementing true textile-to-textile recycling at hyperscale, we want to drive the transition from a linear to a circular value chain by putting textile waste to use, over and over again.
Syre is growing, and so is our stellar finance team! We’re now looking for a Project Finance Director with a wish to make a real impact on the green transition.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement long-term financial strategies for project financing aligned with the company’s objectives and financial needs
  • Project lead the debt financing process, including managing and coordinating process and timeplan, preparing presentations and DD material to lenders and their consultants, negotiation of terms and financing agreements, and liaising with financial and legal advisors, lenders (including their consultants) and equity investors
  • Build and maintain relationships with debt advisors, banks, export credit agencies, credit rating agencies, equity investors, and other financial stakeholders
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of financing agreements
  • Prepare detailed financial models and projections to support decision-making
  • Develop processes for implementing, monitoring and managing financial performance as it relates to project financing

We would prefer if you

  • Have 10+ years of relevant experience, and in-depth understanding of Project Financing, capital markets, regulations, and debt financing metrics and covenants , and financing agreements
  • Have strong analytical skills and high proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, and forecasting
  • Have advanced skills in Excel and financial software
  • Are an excellent relationship builder with strong negotiation and program management skills
  • Are impact-oriented with a strong drive to get things done, deliver results, and optimize for speed
  • Have strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Have purpose-driven mentality, with a clear mission and passion for driving environmental change
  • Want to be part of an exciting green scale-up journey with the highest ambitions
  • Are fluent in English both orally and in writing (professional English required)

You will be reporting to the CFO and will be located in Stockholm, Sweden.
