QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration or related relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, tax, financial and statutory regulatory with compliance, policy implementation and process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of government regulations related direct and indirect tax regulatory.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing policies and processes.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and training skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems; SAP MUST and Direct / Indirect Tax in Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

POSITION ROLE TYPE:

The Project Financial Analyst and Compliance is responsible in process, systems, and documentation alignment in supporting the requirements of the E-Invoicing initiative by IRBM including updates of the requirement to meet IRBM compliance. This role will support the documentation of the E-Invoicing been validated by IRBM successfully and align to the business operational data in ERP system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect of data from ERP system, submit data to IRBM and keep records of E-Invoicing been validated.
  • Support the timeliness of data from ERP system submission to IRBM for E-Invoicing validation.
  • Communicate and collaborate with operational functions on E-Invoicing unvalidated by IRBM for resubmission.
  • Collaborate with SAP team / Intermediary Software team / Tax Consultant appointed by RTX to ensure the requirement, data submission and system effectiveness in supporting the data submission to IRBM for E-Invoicing.
  • Monitor the updates / latest changes of requirement on E-Invoicing from IRBM to ensure information are communicated to respective functions of the business operation for compliance of E-Invoicing and ensure timely implementation.
  • Identify opportunity for process improvement / system enhancement to increase efficiency and effectiveness of E-Invoicing compliance requirement.
  • Reconciliation of data in ERP system with IRBM E-Invoicing validated timely.
  • Ensure record retention as per RTX policy or as per local statutory requirements whichever by law on compliance for E-Invoicing.
  • Any other adhoc including tax / financial statutory requirements
