Some of the accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Establishes and maintains effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders throughstrong customer engagement and the application of EQLs SKILLED values in all interactions to achieve EnergyQueensland’s HSE targets and strategic objectives.
  • Supports Office of Federal Safety Commission (OFSC) and International Standards Organisation (ISO)compliance on project portfolios.
  • Manages the compiling of SSOW (Safe Systems of Work) packages including developing project HSE plans, registers, and assisting with Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) as required for individual projects.
  • Facilitates the identification/verification of plant and equipment competencies to ensure compliance to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and calibration requirements ensuring safe operation.
  • Delivers initial project risk assessment and subsequent project/contractual Health, Safety, Environment Quality(HSEQ) documentation within required contractual milestones thereby facilitating and enabling projectcommencement.
  • Assists by providing HSE inputs and risk evaluation from a HSE standpoint during tender phases.
  • Attends site as required to ensure site compliance and audit against system implementation and assists sites inclient audits and undertaking incident investigations.
  • Facilitates project specific risk workshops with the project team and/or clients, legislative and client gap analysis, training programs and management plan development including weekly reporting on the effective closeout of audit actions, incident actions, improvement opportunities and non-conformances within delegated authority.
  • Supports Yurika HSE team in the development and continual improvement of the Yurika HSE ManagementSystem.
  • Collaborates effectively managing information and confidentiality requirements across Energy QueenslandLimited in accordance with applicable ring-fencing parameters.
  • Demonstrates a personal commitment to health, safety and environment and support a diverse and inclusiveworkplace

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for implementation and assurance of HSE management plans and tools at a project level. You will provide onsite HSE management support to project activities, to ensure that health, safety and environmental standards are applied and adhered to in project delivery, specific to client and contractual requirements.
