SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary qualifications and operational experience in an area relating to The Benevolent Society’s service delivery in Child, Youth and Family.
  • Proven operational/project management experience within child protection and /or Domestic Violence sector
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex projects
  • Experience evaluating Child, Youth and Family programs to address risk, practice or quality improvement activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships based on trust and collaboration, across all levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to one of our Child Youth and Family Directors, as our Projects Implementation Lead you will be working with our Child, Youth and Family services in rural, regional and outer Sydney. Having a thorough understanding of child protection, family preservation and Domestic and Family Violence programs is integral to success in the role. Experience in community development and youth mental health, will be highly regarded. You are someone who understands the multiple complexities, risks and strengths that children and families experience and are committed to ensuring that they receive services of the highest quality.
You will work closely with Child, Youth and Family Managers and Team Leaders in the development ,coordination and implementation of critical operational projects from the planning stage through to execution. The ability to work autonomously across multiple projects simultaneously is critical to your success in this role.

DUTIES

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of projects, from initiation to completion. This will include development of project management resources, consultation with stakeholders, management of timelines, milestones and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure all project activities are aligned with our values and client expectations.
  • Communicate project status to senior internal teams, providing regular updates.
  • Analyse and source data from multiple sources, with a risk mitigating lens to formulate recommendations.
  • Coordination and assisting Leaders with continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Executive Officer support to the Director of Operations Child Youth and Family.
    Please note that there will be semi-regular travel with Regional NSW required of this role.
