Responsibilities:

The role carries responsibility for ensuring that the IM Framework, based on ISO 19650, can be implemented practically through a systems environment (web / desktop /enterprise), processes and IM Standards, Procedures and guidance which are to be put in place to ensure the GGP has a consistent IM deliverable across the current and future projects. This involves:

  • Working in support of the IM SME in liaising with existing or newly started projects on the GGP Programme to understand IM requirements and existing standards.
  • Review and assess existing processes around IM project standards and deliverables.
  • Support verification of the capabilities of the IM systems needed for the Common Data Environment and requirements gaps to be filled, along with developing the configuration documentation to support and management changes.
  • Reviewing IM capability and systems which already exist within the National Grid and within partner organizations and its ability to service the GGP Programme and align with ISO 19650.
  • Prepare technical documentation (updating existing and shared best practice where available) for provision of IM framework and services (e.g. EIR, Information Standards, Deliverables Management Procedure)
  • Working with NG to update and configure IM systems for the CDE and technical support resources (including guidance) used by IM specialists as well as staff across the project.
