Description:

We are looking for a driven and committed individual, who thrives on challenge in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities to take on the role of SEL Learning Disability and Autism Project Lead – CYP, Autism and SEND .
This post will be based in SEL ICB Headquarters (160 Tooley St, London, SE1 2QH) as part of the at scale roles working across South East London. Due to the nature of this role, regular travel between sites and providers will be required.
The post holder will support the South East London (SEL) Learning Disabilities and Autism programme Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) and their team to ensure the programme is managed effectively and are achieving the desired outcomes and NHSEI Long Term Plan goals.
The post holder will work effectively with other colleagues, partner organisations and local communities to ensure alignment of priorities with primary, secondary, and social care developments, along with neighbouring ICSs and Council plans and other transformation programmes.
The Learning Disability and Autism Programme is designed to bring about a cultural change in the delivery of support and services as outlined in “Building the Right Support” and “Developing support and services people with learning disabilities, autism or both” across South East London.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE PROVEN EXPERIENCE OF:

  • Managing the delivery of projects and/or commissioning services for people with learning disability, autism or both.
  • Managing the delivery and improvement of services within a complex and diverse organisation.
  • Substantial experience of successful project management of complex initiatives in a politically sensitive environment.
  • The post holder may also be asked to support work across other areas of the Learning Disability and Autism Programme. The postholder will be expected to work confidently and collaboratively within high levels of uncertainty and ambiguity.
    Interviews are expected to take place w/c 5 th August 2024 via video conferencing (Microsoft Teams).
