Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
The main focus of this is newly created role is to lead and facilitate detailed requirement articulation, delivery and implementation of network data strategy. Enabling CSD to work towards their targeted future state.
Working as a network data strategy product owner the successful candidate for this role will work with various internal stakeholders ensuring we understand the requirements and deliverables to track our implementation progress in a systematic way. This role has a strong focus on data governance related work and will work closely with the data governance team witin Data & Analytics. The aim of the game is to have strong data quality via standardised, complete, curated, accessible and usable data platforms to enable the business to adequately respond to strategic, operational, and tactical data needs within our workstreams.
Mōu - About youIf you are excited about data, system strategy and data solutions, and have proven experience working within a project environment then this role is for you! To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders across our business, right up to a senior level.
You’ll accompany this with;
- 3+ years’ experience working in a data product management role, or similar product or business management role, focused on data.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Project experience
- Experience working within a supply chain industry is preferred
- Comfortable with working with data and technology teams to articulate business requirements and support the delivery of requirements
- Extenvie stakeholder and project management experience
- Experience educating and influencing others around the benefits of data driven decision making
- Collaborative problem solving approach
