    Detailed Overview:

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Operations Regional Immunizations, the Project Leader, Regional Immunizations Program is responsible for leading, directing and coordinating the development and implementation of projects arising out of strategic plan of the Population & Public Health Regional Immunizations program. This includes providing leadership and collaborating with leaders to support best practice, innovation, and quality improvement for immunization programs and services. Contributes to the development of program guidelines, standards and procedures. Partners with other key partners including but not limited to provincial and local governments and physicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees day-to-day management of projects, monitors, and provides progress reports to the Regional Immunization Program’s Leadership Team, including identification, management and mitigation/resolution of risks and issues. Monitors project progress and takes corrective action to ensure that project implementation strategies and services continue to operate efficiently and effectively; ensures project reporting requirements are met.
  • Develops project plans appropriate to the initiative and incorporates change management approaches to success in complex multi-partner, multi-disciplinary settings. Develops and implements a consistent and streamlined process for policy development.
  • Identifies, establishes and manages the appropriate team structure and membership required for the initiative including sponsorship, champion, steering committees and delivery/implementation teams, utilizing Fraser Health and external resources. Builds relationships with new external partners where needed.
  • Provides consultative services to Population & Public Health Director, Managers and Medical Health Officers to develop Quality Improvement projects, and Key Deliverable projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Fraser Health’s strategic vision.
  • Provide consultative support to key clinical managers in the development of clinical/operational workflows to standardize practice, gain efficiency, and achieve the desired outcomes and benefits in an optimal manner.
  • Develops communications content and materials that support the achievement of project deliverables.
  • Collaborates with Fraser Health Communications to develop content in support of the Regional Immunizations Program’s communications strategy.
  • Collaborates with the Regional Immunization Program’s Director, Managers, Medical Health Officer, and program staff to develop communication materials for clients and the public.
  • Reviews existing policies in other Fraser Health programs and relevant external organizations and research best practices, trends and innovations that may influence practices and models and provides evidence informed recommendations to achieve key deliverables for the Immunization Program.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Your qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, Health Care Management, or related discipline, plus three (3) years’ recent, related experience including planning or project management in the health sector or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience working in Public Health related fields is an asset. Valid BC Driver’s License and access to persona vehicle for business related purposes.
