Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have a fantastic opportunity to work with a major banking client on a transformative core banking project. You may have had 2-3 years’ experience as a BA with a taste of Project Management and would like to continue gathering experience in this role. This position will be based in Wellington and will involve working on site in a central location providing pivotal support to the leadership team managing this major banking transformation project. You will also:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Assist in daily coordination of project tasks
  • Develop reports and produce materials required to support project plans including updates to project schedules, issue logging, recording and documenting meeting minutes for distribution to project team members
  • Provide administrative support through developing agendas, taking minutes at meetings, preparing status reports, answering routine questions, preparing correspondence and progress reports and participating in event coordination
  • Serve as a communication liaison between clients, project teams, and other FIS functional or department managers to understand all necessary aspects of projects and to ensure all are fully informed of objectives, purposes and progress
  • Organise the week’s activities and lining up the cadence for the week. Ensuring that the team are achieving milestones
  • Manage governance processes and make sure they are on track and adhered to
  • Track project progress and assists in identifying and resolving obstacles
  • Provide timely project or sub-plan deliverables that align with project or program plan structure and provides timely status updates to FIS and client management highlighting potential issues/problems.
  • Anticipate needs of project, program and PMO management and make independent decisions and take action to meet those needs.
  • Furnish and obtain information from project management and representatives from clients or FIS organizations.
