YOUR PROFILE – HAVE YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME OUR PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICER?

  • Master or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management or any related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in project management support within professional services.
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent knowledge of Jira application (Atlassian) for agile project management.
  • Strong knowledge of Confluence application (Atlassian) for collaboration & knowledge sharing.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality documentation.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Autonomous and curious, faster learner and constantly seeking for improvement.Fluent in English with excellent communication both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

A Project Management Officer is responsible for overseeing, controlling and supporting the timely and effective execution of projects. The PMO plays a central role within an organization by supporting Project Managers and Business Analysts and maintaining a consistent project management approach through the standards, methodology and documentation defined in the company’s change management policy and procedure.
This path could therefore lead to the role of Project Manager or Business Analyst.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Updating the portfolio dashboard and department KPIs by collecting relevant information on projects from Project Managers.
  • Maintaining the Obeya Corner up-to-date, making sure information on all change initiatives is clearly visible to everyone within the organisation.
  • Assisting the Head of Project Management in preparing the Product Increment Planning e.g. by collecting all the projects/requirements prioritised by the Project Managers and their related workload estimates provided by the IT scrum teams.
  • Following up the sprints by scheduling the Sprint Status Review Meetings and verifying beforehand the status of planned requirements with the Project Managers.
  • Performing regular reviews on project documentation/controls and raising inconsistencies to Project Managers and Head of Project Management.
  • Continuously performing sanity checks in Jira (through the use of dashboards, reports and advanced roadmap feature) to ensure project data quality.
  • Ensuring adherence to the Change Management policy and procedure and maintaining/developing project management and business analysis templates & tools.
  • Monitoring the team mailbox to answer simple queries or redirect more complex ones related to projects and the Transformation Plan.
  • Collecting the agenda points and formalising the minutes for each weekly PMO team meeting and monthly Transformation Office team meeting.Scheduling, preparing and minuting the synchronisation meeting with the other support functions such as Finance and Risk.
