Description:
BOEING DEFENSE SPACE AND SECURITY IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A PROJECT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST TO JOIN THEIR TEAM IN EL SEGUNDO, CA.
The Ground Engineering & Operations organization is responsible for the design and development of ground hardware and software solutions to enable our customer’s on-orbit satellite mission. We service Commercial, International, and U.S.-Government customers with Mission Management, C2, Data Management & Analytics, and Processing, Target ID, & Custody.
TOP 3-5 MUST HAVE REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-years of experience with EVMS (Is there a particular system you prefer or any you can recommend/nice to haves) Any system
- 3+ years of Strong understanding of scheduling concepts (predecessor/successor logic, critical path, etc.); familiar with Agile development and able to integrate into IMS framework.
- Report (document and brief) weekly and monthly status, variance, and metrics to program management
- Track progress of cost, schedule, and technical performance using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Lead quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) assessment and updates
PREFERRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiar with Agile Development Processes & JIRA (min years of experience) preferred
This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $59.58/hour - $66.20hour
