Responsibilities:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the Director General’s office team at the Bar Standards Board. The post holder will work with the Head of Programmes in successfully delivering and managing cross departmental projects and programmes using robust project and stakeholder engagement skills and strategies. The post holder will also be responsible for directly managing and driving forward various key projects across the Organisation, as well as writing high-quality technical minutes and ensuring that effective programme administration, including planning and administering programme/project board meetings is executed efficiently.
We are looking for a candidate who has supported the delivery of projects in previous roles by using project management tools such as Project Initiation Documents, project plans, action logs and risk registers and can demonstrate a thorough understanding of Project Management disciplines. The ability to inspire and motivate stakeholders at all levels is essential for ensuring that project momentum is maintained, and that specifications and timelines are met throughout the project lifecycle.
The candidate will have an opportunity to have a cross-organisational impact by driving forward and project managing the delivery of key work to do with the BSB Reform Programme, so as to ensure that this vital pieces of work deliver their benefits and support the delivery of our strategic priorities.
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will need to have a formal project management qualification. A professional background such as legal, regulatory, research and policy or other related fields is beneficial.
