As our Nuclear Team in Warrington continues to expand, we’re seeking a dynamic Project Manager with a proven track record in managing projects to join us on a high-profile project. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your career with a leader in the industry.
Ideally, you have experience working on nuclear projects. This client-facing role requires strong written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, you should be adept at managing multiple projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and handling numerous moving parts simultaneously.
You will join an exciting and diverse team, playing a crucial role in successfully managing and delivering the project. Collaborating closely with AECOM Senior Project Managers, you will be a primary point of contact for external clients, overseeing project progress, commercial aspects, and contractual responsibilities.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Significant experience in client-side project management.
  • A collaborative team player adept at integrating within multi-disciplinary project teams to foster cooperation.
  • Proficiency in implementing robust project management processes across project lifecycles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, capable of engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders through formal reports and documentation.
  • Experience in design and contractor management.
  • Preferably skilled in NEC 3 Contract Administration.
  • Ensuring alignment with approved project scopes of work.
  • Providing essential Project Management support to the Associate Project Manager, Project Engineering Manager, and Lead Design Engineers as needed.
  • Contributing to the management and updates of project organization structures, Project Execution Plans (PEP), and Project Quality Management Plans (PQMP).
  • Establishing, monitoring, and reporting on key performance indicators and contractual metrics regularly.
  • Proficiency in various Project Management Software supported by strong IT capabilities.
  • Demonstrating a client-focused, results-driven approach to project delivery.

You will also be self-motivated with an ability to work both autonomously where required, with a strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn and a desire to work in a dynamic deadline driven team environment.
Additional Information

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a vibrant and diverse team to manage and deliver projects successfully.
  • Serve as one of the main points of contact with external clients, handling progress updates, commercial matters, and contractual responsibilities.
  • Work closely with AECOM Senior Project Managers to ensure the project’s success.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks, implementing solutions to address any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
