Description:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our client’s team and lead their civil, construction, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing complex projects, strong leadership skills, and extensive knowledge of construction and infrastructure best practices.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Excellent project management and organisation skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Min 3 years experience in project management within the civil construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding and commitment to H&S, Environmental, and Social & Sustainable outcomes.
- Understanding of 3910
- Knowledge of civil construction practices and methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Adept with MS office and Project.
- Survey rover experience a bonus.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage civil, construction, and infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and resource requirements.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Manage project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal personnel.
- Implement and oversee risk management processes to mitigate project risks.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle promptly and effectively
- Prepare methodologies, programs and support documentation for tenders and assist with pricing.
