Description:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our client’s team and lead their civil, construction, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing complex projects, strong leadership skills, and extensive knowledge of construction and infrastructure best practices.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Excellent project management and organisation skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Min 3 years experience in project management within the civil construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding and commitment to H&S, Environmental, and Social & Sustainable outcomes.
  • Understanding of 3910
  • Knowledge of civil construction practices and methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
  • Adept with MS office and Project.
  • Survey rover experience a bonus.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage civil, construction, and infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal personnel.
  • Implement and oversee risk management processes to mitigate project risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle promptly and effectively
  • Prepare methodologies, programs and support documentation for tenders and assist with pricing.
