DESCRIPTION OF DIVISION AND BUSINESS UNIT

This role will fit within the AMP Advice Business. Primarily this role will be within Project Athena to support the implementation of the Future Advice Technology strategy. There are 3 streams of work focusing on Revenue Management, Data and Analytics and Advice and Advice back-office processing.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the project stream
  • Work with Program Manager to establish team priorities and delivery schedules
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders across the business to understand their needs and requirements
  • Strong team leadership and ability to create a motivating environment and building a team culture with focus on ownership, delivery and collaboration
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager/Project Owner/Sponsor, stakeholders and business analysts, test team, product owners and vendors
  • Leading, monitoring and maintaining progress of the project plan to ensure delivery of the key stages and goals within the agreed constraints of time, cost and quality
  • Controlling and reporting progress to the Project Steering Group/Project Sponsor and escalating any issues, as appropriate, in a timely manner. Initiating corrective action where necessary to keep the project on track
  • Work with peers at all stages of the PMLC and SDLC to deliver the best possible outcome
  • Managing, and delivering individual projects and deliverables
  • Provide ongoing support to stakeholders throughout the project
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to plan and manage project delivery
