Position Overview
The Project Manager will work closely with the Vice President of Construction and will be responsible for understanding the projects deliverables and creating timelines for different individuals and groups involved in the project to make sure the projects remain on track.
Salary range: $120,000-$130,000.
Shifts: Full-time permanent, 8-hour shifts
Requirements
- Demonstrable problem-solving and project management experience.
- Education in project management or a relatable subject.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Procore knowledge.
- Will need a valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
Responsibilities:
- Project Management
- Oversees projects from beginning to end in an effective manner.
- Plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specification and budget.
- Handle project administration, including cost control, schedule control and change order administration.
- Plans prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules.
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
- Develop and implement quality control programs.
- Prepare progress reports and issues progress schedules to management.
- Assist estimator and purchaser with preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates.
- Acquires equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
- Reviewing project drawings.
- Review interior details such us electrical and plumbing.
- Booking engineering and building code inspections.
- Building External Relationships
- Building positive relationships with internal and external parties.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and sub-tardes to determine the specifications of the projects.
- Supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate employees.
- Determine needed recourses (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
- Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Team Lead
- Building positive and safe workplace for all employees and subcontractors.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
- Communicating any pertinent information regarding projects timeliness, goals, or objectives to the Site Supervisors.
- Coordinating manpower with the Site Supervisors.
- Maximizing productivity by scheduling employees and sub-contractors to the proper projects.
- Leading on-site coordination meetings weekly.
- Be the lead health and safety representative for all sites.
- Conduct quarterly meetings and investigate any incidents/accidents on sites.
