  • Drive weekly updates with your manager, co-PMO peer, and Director for guidance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma
  • A PMP certificate + 1 year of project management experience or 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have organizing and follow up methods.
  • Proficient with basic office software (email, document, spreadsheet, presentation).

Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Manager of the Program Management Office (PMO).
  • Facilitator of assigned projects to meet or exceed project schedule and business case goals.
  • Coordinator of the project team in the development of project goals, project schedules, work assignments and roles, change management methods, and resource planning within and beyond the project team.
  • Identifier of risks and holder of the responsibility for escalating issues to appropriate levels within the project team, BTS management, and customer’s organization to minimize risks to project schedules and delivery.
  • Maintainer of records (meeting minutes, incoming POs, outgoing POs, sample shippers, and project schedules).
  • Organizer of the project kick-off meeting, gate and milestone reviews, and project closure meeting including lessons learned event.
  • Driver for identifying when problem solving, lean thinking, and process improvement is necessary.
  • Ensure new product development (NPD) projects are delivered on time and tracks causes for why a project schedule slips.
  • Ensure NPD projects achieve the returns identified in the business case and tracks causes for why a business case changed.
  • Assure that all necessary tasks and duties are assigned to individuals.
  • Identify and resolve issues and risks before projects goals are jeopardized.
  • Maintain documentation to allow a full project history to be known.
  • Promote the adoption of best practices in project management, problem solving, and Lean thinking within project teams.
