We are currently seeking a strategic, collaborative and detail oriented Project Manager, Buildings Estates to join our Technical Services team.
Reporting to our Director of Engineering, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a diverse range of projects across our 850 estate from inception to completion. This multifaceted role involves a combination of technical knowledge, management skills, and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Working with our Senior Management and Leadership teams to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs
- Developing detailed project plans to guide stakeholders and project teams, continually reviewing and revising, based on changing needs and requirements
- Identifying project goals and determining the potential challenges that can increase cost or cause delays, proactively intervening to take remedial action; keeping accurate records and controlling costs, invoices and balance sheets on each project
- Tracking progress and supervising project teams, submitting project status reports and ensuring the achievement of all milestones; acting as an intermediary between our Senior Leadership and the project team
- Compiling accurate reports regarding progress, cost and any deviation to the project schedules and timelines to ensure our projects’ success
- Engaging with consultants, scrutinising performance and costs, always securing the most beneficial contract terms
- Building strong working relationships with local authorities and planners, utilising your expert knowledge of the Scottish planning and warrant, LBC and Heritage Scotland requirements
- Working effectively with relevant stakeholders, internally and externally, for efficient project implementation and advise on any deviations
- Utilising your outstanding leadership, customer service and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
