JOB DESCRIPTION

Seize the chance to join our dynamic, growing team in a fast-paced, challenging sector as a Project Manager for Business Support Management. This role will manage a broad range of projects and initiatives of varying complexity in support of BSM initiatives inclusive of project tracking, planning, leading focus groups and executing programs.
Job Summary:
As a Project Manager for Business Support Management, you will plan and lead projects from initiation through completion, including phases such as strategic planning, analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. This role will provide oversight and support for the evolution of BSM, which incorporates administration of hiring efforts, development of programs for people engagement, training and talent development for the team and unified communications. This role works in partnership with local and global partners. This position will also drive business review reporting, location strategy plans and lead projects from initiation through completion and will also be responsible for managing certain ongoing business needs. This role is a highly visible position and will be filled by a candidate with exceptional drive and energy. The ideal candidate will enjoy the challenge of a build out and has experience in banking, strategy and business development, strong verbal and written communications skills, and the ability to influence decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a broad range of projects and initiatives of varying complexity in support of BSM initiatives inclusive of project tracking, planning, leading focus groups and executing programs
  • Support ongoing recruiting, hiring, and training processes
  • Drive people agenda initiatives and talent development programs
  • Drive recognition programs and coordinate with leadership teams on the periodic submissions (e.g. monthly/ quarterly recognition etc.)
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and partner meetings and drive connectivity across teams (e.g. townhalls, people empowerment programs, speak up sessions etc.)
  • Coordinate LOB internal reporting to ensure consistent messaging to the business (e.g. BSM newsletters, LOB communications etc.)
  • Manage stakeholder visits aiding and creating presentation materials, managing logistics and requirements during Client and Senior Leader visits
  • Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders and communicate status of projects and escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders
  • Develop robust management presentations and effective and meaningful materials suitable for business partners and senior stakeholders headlining BSM story and overall business initiatives

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of project and/or operational related experience, preferably in a large financial services firm
  • A strong track record in successful business management and project leadership
  • Highly comfortable with learning and adapting to new technologies
  • Strong presentation skills and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint PitchPro)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation, change management and influence skills
  • Self-starter, highly organized and can operate independently, highly effective prioritization and problem-solving skills and ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Corporate level marketing and exceptional communication skills (confident, organized and able to effectively assimilate with all levels within the organization)
  • Professional leadership (excels at motivating teams, fosters collaboration, and recognizes accomplishments and ability to participate in cross-functional teams)
