YOUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years’ demonstrable experience managing and delivering projects in Fund, Wealth, Asset Management or in a consulting firm performing equivalent duties, including experience within asset/funds management, preferably private assets.
- Considerable experience in developing and delivering project, change and transformation frameworks, supporting transition of services in a controlled way that minimises risks and disruption..
- Facilitation of collaborative co-design workshops.
- Experience reporting and producing data insights for executive reporting and using data analytics and visualization tools to manipulate and analyse project plans into management & governance reporting.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, demonstrating the ability to develop and lead successful teams.
- Experience is managing matrix teams and managing by persuasion.
- Considerable experience with project and change delivery frameworks. influencing and challenging key stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance or related study.
- Prince2 or PMP would be well regarded.
- Detailed understanding and knowledge of financial services and in particular funds management industry and products would be advantageous.
- In depth understanding of key risks and issues that usually arise in a transaction / large scale transformation project, specifically in the asset management industry.
- Experience on some or all of: project management systems / software, status reporting dashboards (familiarity with IFM’s Strategic Delivery Framework is preferred).

Responsibilities:
The Business Transformation team supports IFM in driving efficiency and growth, while simplifying the experience of change and reducing risk. The team is responsible for delivering strategic initiatives and major projects.
This role is responsible for supporting the integration planning and execution on a new major project. This includes supporting governance and reporting processes, maintenance of the project master schedule, maintenance of the risks, issues and dependencies logs across the program and assistance in facilitation of program workshops.
This role will be responsible for ensuring sound project management disciplines are applied to integration activities, including:
- Ensuring clarity in the structure and set up of the program, including roles & responsibilities, governance, operating rhythm, and approach in accordance with IFM’s Project Management Framework
- Working with internal team members and external service providers to ensure the project structure and implementation plan is clearly captured and communicated.
- Managing project design and delivery, stakeholder communication and engaging in change management activities. This includes:
- Creating a detailed project plan and tracking this to completion.
- Developing and producing regular stakeholder reporting including, but not limited to, Steering Committee packs and minutes.
- Tracking risks, issues, actions and dependencies to closure and escalating where required.
- Supporting Change Management teams in rolling out change management activities.
- Manage dependencies across the portfolio of projects to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders and that key performance indicators are monitored and evaluated
- Support integration and interaction with IFM’s portfolio of strategic projects by managing dependencies, risks and resource allocation across projects.
