Reporting to the Director, Capex Project Management this role is responsible for leading capex projects throughout Ontario.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage projects. This role requires someone who can apply project management principles as well as provide strategic operational insight to stakeholders. If you are a self – starter with strong project experience, this is a great opportunity to join a growth -orientated company with a strong development mandate.
Responsibilities:
- Provide effective and strategic management of projects delivered on time and on budget according to plan and proforma expectations
- Supervise and coordinate project deliverables with internal resources, consultants, trades and approval authorities
- Create and manage project plans that align with scope, time, cost, quality and resources
- Ensure that change, acceptance and approval management is proactive and effective on all projects
- Identify and mitigate risks to project, proactively escalate to Director and Stakeholders as required
- Provide timely communication and reporting to the organization, project teams and stakeholders
- Effectively and consistently deliver project status reporting updates against proforma milestones and financial targets
- Lead, develop and empower team members
