JOB SPECIFICATION

Project Manager wanted. The role is to work on a project to introduce a new accounts and stock control system in a busy wholesale business. Work with the company staff and the software system provider staff to implement this system.
Work with the current Sales Managers to list all customers’ data to be included in the new system.
Work with the current Purchase Managers to list all suppliers’ data to be included in the new system.
Work with the current Purchase Managers to list all suppliers’ products to be included in the new system.
Oversee the changeover of the current paper system to the computerised system:
- sales staff to set up orders on new system.
- warehouse staff to view orders on system and to assemble orders and processed them as dispatched
- accounts staff to process sales invoices
- Purchase Manager to update the system with new orders
- Warehouse staff to record the “checking in” of the new products
- accounts staff to process and pay invoices
- Work with warehouse staff to ensure that all stock records are being recorded on the system correctly.
- Introduce procedures to be followed to ensure the stock levels are being updated for all sales, sales returns, purchases, purchases returns and stock losses caused by damage or waste.
- Work with the warehouse team to introduce stock bays and ensure all stock is recorded on the system by location.
- Introduce inventory cycle counts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €45,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
