EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field, or an equivalent amount of practical work experience.
• Minimum number of years of prior job experience required: 2-3 years of project management in business solutions.
• Expertise and experience with Project Management methodology based upon project management principles, including experience implementing and facilitating complex decision-making structures among multiple executive stakeholders with varied interests and priorities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to negotiate win/win solutions for tough problems
• Proven ability to create highly cohesive and functional teams

• Proven ability to ask questions - digging beyond quick answers and driving for complete answers
• Experience developing and presenting training to groups.
• Provides a deep toolbox of approaches and ways to both analyze and work around roadblocks
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency with Office 365 applications
• Ability to navigate and learn new computer programs quickly, with minimal instruction

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• PMP - Project Management Professional, or similar project management certification
• Understanding of the live animal aspect of food production
• Ability to produce high quality functional specifications.
• In-depth experience with quality assurance principles.
• Experience using Microsoft Project to develop project plans

POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to coordinate, lead, oversee and ensure successful execution of projects that align with Christensen Farm’s annual business plan and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive ownership, drive projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timely delivery within budget while meeting business objectives. They will work cooperatively across departments to drive value and support the organization’s strategic vision.
