Your Responsibilities
Lockton is currently seeking a high energy, self-starter to strategically support the expansion of our Producer footprint within the commercial insurance industry. In partnership with one of Lockton’s top producers, you will help drive and support a growing book of business with a focus on service and execution. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Manage daily operations and projects to allow the Producer the freedom, momentum, and clarity to significantly expand their business
  • Assist Producer with calendar, email, and project management
  • Responsible for planning and directing budgets, goals, and business objectives
  • Oversee all aspects of projects including projection development, milestone tracking, project completion, summaries and follow up
  • Participate in Client meetings by coordinating summaries and seeing action items through to closure
  • Develop and track Client renewal lists and reports
  • Assist with presentation preparation for Clients and/or Senior Leadership, including draft review and resolution of potential errors
  • Process Requests for Proposals (RFP) and develop response with minimal Producer oversight
  • Develop policies and/or procedures for effective account management and satisfactory Client service
  • Additional tasks may be requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, or related field - preferred
  • Prior experience in the insurance and/or financial industry (commercial lines experience preferred)
  • Foundational knowledge of property and casualty coverages (a plus)
  • Understanding of commercial insurance renewal, marketing, and program placement process (a plus)
  • Strong technical aptitude, including expertise in Microsoft Office products/platforms and Workfront (preferred)
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of Associates and Clientele
  • Highly effective organizational and time management skills with a focus on accuracy and meeting goal-driven deadlines
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation, and ability to provide impactful solutions
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities successfully
  • Willingness to learn about Lockton product offerings, identify and introduce market concepts, and effectively communicate insurance program details
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours and travel as needed
  • Legally able to work in the United States
