Description:

Job Summary: The Project Manager with Commodity/Metal Experience is responsible for overseeing and managing projects within the commodities and metals sector. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the commodities or metals industry and possess strong project management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of [X] years of project management experience within the commodities or metals industry.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate project expectations and progress to team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Resource Management:
  • Allocate project resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as necessary to meet project objectives.
  • Manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential obstacles.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Provide regular project updates and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards.
  • Implement and manage quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
