Description:

Hybrid opportunity available! A large company based in Newark, NJ is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee a high-profile redevelopment project. The Construction Project Manager will oversee the renovation and buildout of a mixed-use commercial space (retail and office), will liaise with a combination of internal and external stakeholders, and apply budget management skills to ensure efficient spend. This role requires strong coordination skills across multiple audiences, including client stakeholders, Engineers/Architects, Contractors, and Construction staff. The Construction Project Manager will also conduct regular site visits and walkthroughs to ensure alignment with project plans and timelines, as well as to mitigate any risks/potential issues. The ideal Construction Project Manager will have recent experience working for mid-sized to large commercial real estate firms in their construction departments, will be proficient with construction terminology, and will have strong financial management skills. Impeccable communication skills are a must!
