DEVI by Danfoss part of the Accelerator division in Danfoss is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our Electrical Floor Heating Team in Kolding.
As our new Project Manager, you’ll lead a cross-functional project Teams in an agile environment and being responsible for end to end product development lifecycle. In this role, you’ll get the chance to spearhead projects integrating mechanics, electronics, software and mobile apps.
You will be part of a team that values networking and leveraging synergies across new product development projects. We believe in the power of collaboration to reflect on successes and challenges, driving continuous improvement.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

To succeed in this position, you should have several years of Project leadership experience in a complex multi-project environment with the ability to facilitate good cooperation across a matrix organization.

On a personal level, you have a positive attitude, high engagement, strong people leadership skills combined with good presentation and communication competences.

  • You have Project management experience with solid Value Chain knowledge across supply chain, procurement, RD&E & Product Management
  • You have experience in Project process, Project quality, continuous improvement and optimization
  • You can motivate the team and lead the way forward in a changing environment
  • You are an excellent collaborator with strong communication skills and passionate about working with cross functional colleagues
  • You are resilient when things are tough, able to remove roadblocks in collaboration with the team and look for different ways to achieve the objectives
  • You have experience working in an agile environment with continuously learning and adjusting to meet the project objectives
  • You have an interest in and experience with business acumen, enabling close collaboration with our Product Owners to ensure we maintain an outside-in perspective.
  • A background with electronic controllers and thermostat will be considered as a clear advantage.

Furthermore, we expect that you:

  • Have at least bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably within electronic and software or equivalent.
  • Have at least 4+ years of experience from a similar position, or as people manager
  • Communicate effortlessly in English in writing and speaking

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead your projects in an agile way to ensure efficient way of working, fast decision processes, continuous retrospective learnings and meet Time to Market objectives in a dynamic environment.
  • Lead projects from NPD projects (Development) to PMI activities (Maintenance) with full Value Chain perspective, ensure quality and deliverables within agreed deadlines.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain and Sales to drive the project forward.
  • Lead effective communication towards key stakeholders.
  • Lead the project Team of colleagues and ensure motivation and high performance through Indirect and Situational leadership.
  • Create and manage project plans, follow-up and coordinate activities within the project team.
