Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Nelson team. You will work alongside a high-performing construction team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of projects within your portfolio across the Upper South Island.

Reporting to the Construction Manager your day to day will include the following:

• Providing leadership and management to achieve targets
• Promoting a Zero Harm environment, ensuring H & S policies and procedures are followed
• Overseeing the allocation of people, plant, technology and resources to achieve outcomes
• Develop and improve systems and processes
• Assist in development and implementation of procurement strategies

NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS

This is a fantastic role that will suite someone who is outcome-focused, enjoys a challenge, and is able to take initiative whilst building great relationships with our team and clients. You will also ideally have:

• Project and/or Contract Management experience in Civil Engineering
• Desirable to have tertiary qualification or equivalent in Engineering
• At least 5 years’ experience in the Civil Engineering sector
• Strategic thinking and an ability to problem solve and implement initiatives
• A proven track record developing a culture that supports business excellence
• Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
