SUMMARY:

Help build Cavotec’s ability as a total system provider in the Ports and Maritime industry by developing detailed commissioning project plans, perform risk analysis, cost management and ensuring resource availability and allocation to deliver every project on time within budget and scope.Responsible for managing and coordinating suppliers, contractors, people, and processes to ensure our projects are delivered according to spec, on time and to the customers
satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Engineering degree required
  • >4 experience in project management role in complex engineering installations of oil & gas, Maritime & Ports, Utilities projects
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Fluency in English and Italian required
  • Solid Project Management skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
  • Project planning and tracking tools.
  • Budgeting, Costing and risk controls skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Contract management, assist sales department and identify project risks.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress of commissioning on the ground.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Create and track financial overview of the project, controlling cost and cashflow in projects.
  • Measure project performance.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform continuous risk identification and management.
  • Coordinate, allocate and ensure availability of internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Direct engineering resources to ensure technical solution is feasible and proper documentation is produced and approved.
  • Work with Procurement to find the best suppliers.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Develop and improve processes for project execution.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation together with Project team.
  • Assist in Project proposal generation
