Description:
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking motivated individuals with a strong background in building fabric, construction or M&E trade, who thrive in a team oriented, customer focused environment. Ideal candidates should possess:
- Previous management experience on live construction sites
- Experience as Principal Contractor under CDM2015 Regulations
- Proficiency in dealing with main contractors, principal designers, cost consultants, quantity surveyors and health & safety consultants.
- A solid Building fabric or mechanical and electrical background in FM
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience in sub-contractor and people management
- Experience collating, producing, and managing Construction phase information
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Willing to travel to sites across the UK as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft office package
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Hold a valid SMSTS qualification
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
Step into this varied and exciting position where you will take projects from inception to completion, ensuring excellence and efficiency at every stage. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing site health and safety
- Principal Contractor site management and mobilisation
- Ensuring compliance with CDM2015 Regulations
- Overseeing main contractors, sub-contractors and directly employed regional projects supervisors
- Liaising with client and stakeholders
- Developing project scopes, controlling costs and maintaining quality
- Managing all client SLAs associated with project framework delivery
- Coordinating with our supply chain to confirm construction phases, identifying gaps and resource requirements.
- Supporting the projects team in pricing individual projects and work packages.
- Delivering initial Inductions and inspecting site set-ups.
- Liaising with subcontractors and actively participate in site meetings.
- Conducting final inspections, addressing snagging issues and ensure the client’s satisfaction.
