Description:

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking motivated individuals with a strong background in building fabric, construction or M&E trade, who thrive in a team oriented, customer focused environment. Ideal candidates should possess:

  • Previous management experience on live construction sites
  • Experience as Principal Contractor under CDM2015 Regulations
  • Proficiency in dealing with main contractors, principal designers, cost consultants, quantity surveyors and health & safety consultants.
  • A solid Building fabric or mechanical and electrical background in FM
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience in sub-contractor and people management
  • Experience collating, producing, and managing Construction phase information
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Willing to travel to sites across the UK as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft office package
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Hold a valid SMSTS qualification

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Step into this varied and exciting position where you will take projects from inception to completion, ensuring excellence and efficiency at every stage. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing site health and safety
  • Principal Contractor site management and mobilisation
  • Ensuring compliance with CDM2015 Regulations
  • Overseeing main contractors, sub-contractors and directly employed regional projects supervisors
  • Liaising with client and stakeholders
  • Developing project scopes, controlling costs and maintaining quality
  • Managing all client SLAs associated with project framework delivery
  • Coordinating with our supply chain to confirm construction phases, identifying gaps and resource requirements.
  • Supporting the projects team in pricing individual projects and work packages.
  • Delivering initial Inductions and inspecting site set-ups.
  • Liaising with subcontractors and actively participate in site meetings.
  • Conducting final inspections, addressing snagging issues and ensure the client’s satisfaction.
