Description:
DESCRIPTION
The Soil & Site Remediation division of Enva provide high end environmental waste solutions to a wide range of Industry clients (primarily the construction sector) across the island of Ireland. Due to continued growth, expansion and diversification across our business offering we are seeking to recruit a project manager from an environmental/construction management /technical engineering background to join the Soil & Site Remediation team, and take on ownership and responsibility of projects ranging from in value of up to €2M per individual project.
We are seeking an experienced project manager with a technical background and experience to join the team at mid management level with the role based from either Dublin or Portlaoise offices, but would require nationwide travel to various project sites as required.
The role offers significant potential for rapid personal growth and development. This role may suit a experienced environmental scientist, construction management, engineer or agricultural science professional looking to work within the environmental, or waste sector.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
- Demonstrable experience with a minimum of 3-5 years’ project management, contract management, managing budgets, deliverables and safety or similar discipline
- Environmental/engineering or construction management primary degree or related qualification minimum level 7
- Appetite to take ownership of projects both commercial and operationally
- Good report writing skills, proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communications skills to coordinate team members and key stakeholders
- Ability to effectively plan, organise and project manage - essential
- Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities within a fast paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the effective and efficient management of projects making sure that the proposed plan is adhered to timeline, budget and scope
- Define project management responsibilities with all key stakeholders
- Ensure the business unit grows and develops
- Operational deliverables: ensure client scope requirements is met inclusive of management of contractors.
- Ensure effective program management inclusive of subcontractors installation targets to specific programs
- Profitability: management of overall costs, these include subcontractor internal costs versus the management of contracted revenue maximising margins in the process
- H&S - generation of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), adherence to H&S requirement on own internal site and external client sites.
- Ensure compliance and quality standards is met in every aspect of projects undertaken
- Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies and other stake holders, monitor projects budgets and programmes.
- Support in developing the sales pipeline, meeting and developing opportunities with new prospects and existing clients
- Preparation of proposals and profit and loss accounts for new projects with existing customers
- Research and support new initiatives to maintain Enva’s position as an innovator and a forward thinker in the waste sectors within Ireland and the UK.
