POSITION SUMMARY:

The role entails overseeing product development projects with a focus on shepherding products through the design process to the finished product stage, from inception to delivery. This position involves working on intricate issues that necessitate a comprehensive evaluation of various factors. The incumbent will be responsible for determining methods and procedures for new assignments and may also coordinate team activities. The role requires confidence and strong communication skills to effectively present to stakeholders and management. The individual will exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluations to achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, they may take on a leadership role within a cross-functional team and be accountable for managing team deliverables. Active participation and contribution to Agile processes are essential to drive project results through collaboration.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Science or equivalent engineering field is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Hardware or Firmware Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant Project Management certifications are preferred.
• Certification in Functional Safety IEC61508 and Cybersecurity IEC-62443-4-1/-2 would be advantageous.
• Certified Agile, SAFe, or relevant experience is a plus.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Possesses strong analytical skills and approaches complex initiatives in innovative and effective ways.
• Experienced in collaborating within cross-functional, cross-business, and cross-cultural environments.
• Proficient in product development, regulatory compliance, and environmental processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple teams, collaborate with management to resolve conflicts, and secure resources for projects. Skilled in effectively communicating and presenting to stakeholders.
• Track record of directing resources, planning project activities, and managing financial budgets effectively.
