Summary
We are looking for a “Project Manager (f/m/d)” for the “Security Solutions” division at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.
The “Security Solutions” department is responsible for the implementation of all projects in the field of security solutions, such as monitoring and protection systems for critical infrastructures and monitoring systems for borders and coasts. The systems used generally consist of a range of sensors for detecting and tracking a wide variety of objects, such as RADAR sensors, EO / IR cameras and RF / DF sensors.
The customer base is international. The Security Solutions team is spread across locations in Oberkochen, Ulm, Taufkirchen and Singapore.
The tasks in project management lie in the preparation and execution of customer, product or software-related projects for complex optronic mission packages (OEIR and software) for use in border surveillance and coastal surveillance systems, as well as in the coordination of all project-related activities between market / customer requirements and the interdisciplinary organizational units, taking into account the available budget, the agreed schedule and the quality requirements to be met.

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for successful project execution, taking into account costs, time, quality, customer satisfaction and company processes and standards
• Central contact person within the project for all parties involved (internal and external) during the implementation of the project as well as in the pre- and after-sales phases
• Responsible for the commercial success of the project
• Representation of the HENSOLDT company in front of the customer
• Leading the project team in a matrix organization (project team members are seconded part-time / full-time from different departments and units of the company for the duration of the project)
• Regular reporting of the project status to the management
• Sharing and distributing information within the project team
• Supporting the bid team in the preparation of bids
• Collaborate with all other departments within HENSOLDT and subcontractors to ensure efficient development and production of equipment/services according to customer requirements and delivery to agreed timescales
• Comply with export regulations for equipment / services provided in accordance with relevant guidelines

Willingness to travel internationally is required.

Your Profile

• Degree in electronics, telecommunications, computer science or similar
• Several years of experience in project management, preferably in an international environment
• Experience with government customers
• Sound knowledge of project and multi-project management methods and tools, PMP / PMI certification or comparable
• Willingness to take responsibility, ability to work in a team, organizational talent and motivation
• Friendly and confident demeanor as well as strong communication skills and enthusiasm
• Very good knowledge of German and English
