ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide Project Management and leadership in a professional and organized manner for total project effort including project schedule development; participation in construction planning and design; resolution of design conflicts; constructability reviews, etc.
- Ensure Project Management activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall project schedule
- Interface with all engineering departments/disciplines as required in the establishment of project schedules and resolving schedule problems
- Project Initiation and upfront planning activities to establish clear project requirements and goals throughout the execution, monitoring and closeout.
- Schedule management, cost management for the project
- Team support and guidance
- Stakeholder management
- Meeting facilitation with all project stakeholders
- Managing WBS, CBS and project cost reporting (Earned Value Management)
- Interfacing with Clients for proactive dialogue/management around cost, schedule, scope, and issue resolution
- Facilitate and chair meetings as required
- Work in a professional and organized matter to track all
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in an Engineering Discipline
- 5-10 years of formal training and experience in industrial engineering design working on integrated, multi-discipline engineering or EPC projects
- Must be licensed as a professional engineer
- Currently residing in Canada
SKILLS
- Superior project management and leadership skills
- Must be familiar with applicable codes, standards, and acceptable industry practices, etc.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be capable of interacting with peers, project managers, site managers and clients proactively
- Must have a proven track record of accomplishment as a project manager on industrial projects and be capable of working with a team of engineers, designers and support personnel
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
