Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on finance professional to assist us in developing, implementing and completing a number of finance projects. Some of these projects are yet to have started and some are underway. All of them are of high value to the business in facilitating our growth and assisting our business to continue to scale. The projects largely focus on the improvement of accounting and finance processes and the optimisation of data and our systems. You will report to the group CFO, but will have a high degree of autonomy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage finance and data projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Implementation of best practice accounting processes within our business environment. Assisting the current finance team in optimising how they work.
  • Improving the connection between finance and the operations teams with our business
  • Assisting with the improvement of how we use Netsuite with our business environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse financial data, and develop solutions to achieve project goals.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, financial analysis, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Provide financial expertise and support to other departments as needed.
