Role: Project Manager
Location: 1 Centenary Square, Birmingham (hybrid - minimum 3 days per week in the office)

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

As a Senior Project Manager, you are accountable for leading and developing the projects you are assigned to, as well as keeping an open and efficient working relationship with your HSBC UK in-house team, keep clients happy and hit targets and KPI’s.

You are accountable for the smooth running of the overall delivery of the projects assigned to you.

  • Ensuring that the client experience is as positive as possible. Encouraging a positive, proactive solution first attitude, with clear communication in person, supported by documentation in email.
  • Responsible for Brand guardianship on their projects within the team.
  • Looks to constructively challenge the client and will proactively work with project teams to present any added-value solutions.
  • Negotiate to create win-win compromises with your client on behalf of your team members, where needed.
  • Keeps up to date with industry news, agency case studies and innovations that the clients can learn from.
  • Ensures that internal processes are followed and optimized where necessary
  • Accountable for training team members on internal processes where necessary
  • Cascades any changes in process and company or studio updates to the team and ensures that they are followed.
  • Work with the HSBC UK team to educate clients on OLIVER ways of working.
  • Ensures that the team are using OMG and other tech as a project management tools, for the overall accuracy of the delivery of all projects.
  • Accountable for the timely delivery of projects, and the escalation point for project leads where this might not be the case.
  • Responsible for understanding the overall capacity of the on-site studio and the structure of the team
  • Identifies large pockets of upcoming work that will impact the wider agency or dramatically change the requirements of the team.
  • Escalation point where projects are at risk of not meeting the ambitions or agreed project plans with the client.

Responsibilities:

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Copywriter will create engaging, powerful, and impactful copy for digital collateral including web pages, email campaigns, social media assets, presentations, and other digital marketing mediums. Along with offline collateral including DM, instore, out of home and internal comms. Captivating copy plays a key role in ensuring an engaging and memorable customer journey.
The Copywriter will have strong experience writing and adapting copy for traditional digital and print mediums. You will be well versed in interpreting brand TOV guidelines and using to help guide and influence personalised and tailored comms that is specific to the channel that the copy is intended for. You will know what good copy looks like and will be knowledgeable in knowing what makes traffic click.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Craft compelling and original copy for a variety of financial services marketing materials across digital and print channels.
  • Edit and validate existing marketing copy across the channel mix maintaining a consistent brand voice and tone across all marketing materials.
  • Generate engaging, customer-focused content that brings complex financial subject matters into a customer- focused, engaging and memorable customer experience.
  • Translate complex financial concepts into easily digestible and engaging language for a diverse target audience.
  • Collaborate with the onsite OLIVER team, the client marketing team members and wider stakeholders to understand project objectives, target audiences, and key messages.
  • Understand and Interpret marketing challenges and communication objectives to help scope solutions with clients as an extension of their team.
  • Juggle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while adding value to every step of the project journey.
  • Work closely with the team to deliver copy requirements ensuring consistency and accuracy across all messaging to the agreed briefs and established brand guidelines.
  • Form close relationships with the wider client marketing team and stakeholders to source product and audience information and unique selling points to help promote our client’s product offerings.
  • Stay up to date on financial industry trends and regulations to ensure copy is accurate and compliant.
  • You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues.
