CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER – MIXED RESIDENTIAL HOUSING PROJECT
Our client, a respected Tier 2 contractor, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a Mixed Residential Housing Project in Firhouse, Co. Dublin. This is an exciting site-based role offering a chance to manage a high-profile development, with a January start date.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a strong track record of managing large residential or mixed-use projects.
- A relevant qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (e.g., BSc, MSc, or equivalent).
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project management.
- A keen understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the mixed residential housing project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the design team, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations on-site.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including the client, design team, contractors, and local authorities.
- Manage procurement processes, including the selection and negotiation with contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Provide regular project status updates, risk assessments, and progress reports to senior management and the client.
