CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER – MIXED RESIDENTIAL HOUSING PROJECT

Our client, a respected Tier 2 contractor, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a Mixed Residential Housing Project in Firhouse, Co. Dublin. This is an exciting site-based role offering a chance to manage a high-profile development, with a January start date.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a strong track record of managing large residential or mixed-use projects.
  • A relevant qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (e.g., BSc, MSc, or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project management.
  • A keen understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the mixed residential housing project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the design team, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations on-site.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including the client, design team, contractors, and local authorities.
  • Manage procurement processes, including the selection and negotiation with contractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
  • Provide regular project status updates, risk assessments, and progress reports to senior management and the client.
