The Opportunity:
As a Project Manager within the Canterbury region, you will be responsible for the management of the overall direction, co-ordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects.
In addition to the above you will:
- Lead the projects team in the successful execution and delivery of construction projects.
- Manage and direct contract administration, understanding contractual requirements and expectations.
- Set performance expectations with Foremen/Supervisors and construction crews. Monitor performance and address any issues.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager delivering projects.
- Extensive knowledge in civil and other related industries.
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Demonstrated leadership capability with a strong focus on people, safety and quality
- Ability to develop positive relationships with clients and internal/external teams
- Be reliable and self-driven to ensure continued success in your role
