We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions. As a Project Manager at Flighthub, you will play a key role in understanding business stakeholder needs, writing specs, tracking project progress, and providing regular status updates to the Senior Director of Content Integration.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and proposed software development projects.
• Write clear, concise, and accurate specs to align software development solutions with stakeholder objectives.
• Maintain diligent oversight of project progress, identifying potential or actual blockers that could slow down progress, and taking timely corrective action.
• Utilize available tracking tools to keep them up-to-date and well-organized, ensuring all relevant information is easily accessible.
• Provide daily status reports on project progress to the VP, Technical Delivery.
• Stay proactive and vigilant in preventing scope creep caused by additional stakeholder requests, ensuring that any proposed changes are properly evaluated, documented, and approved before being implemented.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in software development or project management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work successfully with diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Please note this position is in Montreal, Quebec and on-site.
