QUALIFICATIONS
- Essential Criteria:
- Experience of compliance management within an engineering sector (i.e. Wireless, EMC, Safety, Environmental etc).
- Knowledge of national and international approval procedures and regulations.
- Experience in project management/handling technical projects.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English and (desirably) an additional Language (Spanish/French)
- Willingness to learn and study new technology types and certification areas.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers.
- Desirable Criteria:
- Native or native-like proficiency in both spoken and written Arabic or French.
Responsibilities:
- The Project Manager (Global Market Access) will be responsible for handling international certification/Type Approval projects, as well as project management of internal testing for a range of industrial and electronic products. Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to successfully identify, plan and deliver on product approvals services globally.
- Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working with customers to understand their global market access needs; identifying the requirements and any other factors that would affect delivery; before generating and executing on product specific project plans.
- Effectively communicating between internal and external contacts and customers, ensuring that the project is planned and delivered successfully.
- Acting as principal intermediary between the client and the operating areas from the beginning to the end of both single discipline and one-stop projects.
- Attending customer and project meetings and provide regular project updates, ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Providing technical support in relation to issues that may prevent project completion; or supporting the business to ensure the customers understanding of our GMA service.
- Managing applications to regulatory authorities and third parties.
- Building and maintaining supplier relationships and contracts.
