QUALIFICATIONS

  • Essential Criteria:
  • Experience of compliance management within an engineering sector (i.e. Wireless, EMC, Safety, Environmental etc).
  • Knowledge of national and international approval procedures and regulations.
  • Experience in project management/handling technical projects.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English and (desirably) an additional Language (Spanish/French)
  • Willingness to learn and study new technology types and certification areas.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers.
  • Desirable Criteria:
  • Native or native-like proficiency in both spoken and written Arabic or French.

Responsibilities:

  • The Project Manager (Global Market Access) will be responsible for handling international certification/Type Approval projects, as well as project management of internal testing for a range of industrial and electronic products. Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to successfully identify, plan and deliver on product approvals services globally.
  • Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Working with customers to understand their global market access needs; identifying the requirements and any other factors that would affect delivery; before generating and executing on product specific project plans.
  • Effectively communicating between internal and external contacts and customers, ensuring that the project is planned and delivered successfully.
  • Acting as principal intermediary between the client and the operating areas from the beginning to the end of both single discipline and one-stop projects.
  • Attending customer and project meetings and provide regular project updates, ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Providing technical support in relation to issues that may prevent project completion; or supporting the business to ensure the customers understanding of our GMA service.
  • Managing applications to regulatory authorities and third parties.
  • Building and maintaining supplier relationships and contracts.
