PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Grade 12 education, post-secondary education considered an asset.
- Experience in a similar capacity considered an asset.
- Customer service or inside sales experience an asset.
- Knowledge of electrical products and applications preferred but not mandatory.
- The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers is essential.
- Must exhibit excellent time management, negotiation and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize work, be flexible and meet deadlines.
- Possesses the ability to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externally.
- Must practice excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingualism in English and French is preferred - although not mandatory.
- Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:
- See that every customer experience meets the quality standards as defined by that customer.
- Request approval drawings and other related documents from suppliers and consolidate into a single professional submittal to the customer.
- Release materials from suppliers as per the customer requests and approved submittals.
- Co-ordinate shipments from multiple suppliers in accordance with customers’ requirements.
- Provide technical support on product selection and application.
- Co-ordinate shipments of stocked materials to compliment the delivery of direct shipments from suppliers.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing customer telephone calls courteously and professionally.
- Coordinate the prompt handling of all customer service-related requests in support of our Customer Service Team including, but not limited to, order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims.
- Participate in quality improvement teams to limit rework and improve services.
- Handle all written correspondence received from customers and reply promptly.
- Represent the customer in the resolving all disputes and claims, including all those involving Graybar Canada’s suppliers.
- Monitor customer satisfaction through the use of written and verbal surveys and coordinate corrective action to resolve deficiencies.
- Assist others in Quotation Department in price quoting and perform other duties as assigned.
