What will your typical day look like?
We are seeking a Project Manager to support our team in delivering successful projects from inception through construction to completion within agreed timeframes and budget. We are currently delivering major public and private projects across health, justice, residential and industrial sectors.
Project Program & Reporting
Establish and maintain master program and detailed programs for each stage, as a tool for the project management team to monitor, control and report.
Monitor and report all program performance, progress in terms of time, cost and quality.
Oversee commissioning, practical completion, defects list and end of project report.
Arrange and participate in risk management workshops, assisting in the preparation of the risk management plan and risk register.
Consultant & Design Management
Working with the client to establishing a design brief and program to meet requirements.
Carrying out ongoing value management of the design to maximise the value to the client.
Attend and actively participate in the Consultant team / design meetings, minuting outcomes as required.
Attend and actively participate on User Group meetings, ensuring consultant deliverables are provided in a timely manner.
Contract Administration & Cost Control
Ensure all that accounting procedures and costs controls are established to cover all stages of the project.
Throughout all phases, work to forecasts and budgets; monitor, analyse and forecast cash flows, action and settle accounts and rigorously enforce cost management procedures.
Ensure the appropriate communication protocols are established and maintained between the contractor and consultants.
Monitor and drive requests for information to ensure timely transfer of information.
Issue directions in accordance with the approved Contract delegation’s framework
Assess variations in a timely manner.
Issue payment certifications for consultant and Contractor claims as required.

ENOUGH ABOUT US, LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU:

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:
Proven industry experience in the health or property industry required, preferably within manageging contracts & procurement
Demonstrated knowledge of the property delivery process including an understanding of project management controls
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., property, valuation, real estate, project management, construction and or other property discipline)
