About the role:
Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced Associate Project Manager. This individual will be a key part of the US and LATAM IT product team working with our internal IT partners, business partners, architects, and external Boston Scientific solution partners to drive business process improvements, service transitions, system upgrade and cloud migration projects. The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for leading diverse, cross-functional team(s) of professionals to evaluate, design, build, evaluate, and implement solutions to achieve the project goals. This role will work collaboratively across various functions, BSC sites across the globe, and engage stakeholders to develop individual project strategies and tactical plans to deliver project results.

Responsibilities:

• Drive project execution by leading governance to review projects roadmap, resourcing, status, and escalate/ mitigate risks.
• Prepare project plans using tools like Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
• Create, maintain, and monitor Jira items needed to accomplish project goals.
• Lead small to medium project teams to achieve timely project objectives.
• Define, monitor, and control scope through project meetings.
• Create, present, and maintain process flows and visuals using MS Visio.
• Create and execute project and communication plans with project teams.
• Schedule and facilitate regular project meetings.
• Follow up on tasks and issues.
• Develop and track project budgets.
• Identify, manage, and communicate project risks.
• Continuously capture, apply, and share best practices and lessons learned across the team.
• Help manage and maintain capacity plans for team members.
• Maintain technical roadmap and plan accordingly to achieve deliverables.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in related field and/or equivalent experience. PMP certification preferred.
• 3+ years of project leadership or PMO experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated project management and change management experience.
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
• High sense of urgency and commitment to execution.
• Proven adaptability, comfortable with change with a demonstrated ability to react and respond to a fast-changing environment.
• Work effectively with minimal supervision, with the courage to make decisions, take ownership and hold team and oneself accountable to results.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
