Description:

Qualifications:

  • Advanced project management skills with PMP certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in managing projects in TCP/IP and cloud-based networks.
  • Knowledge of security platforms (e.g., SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response)) and cloud-based networks.
  • Prefer experience in a SOC (Security Operation Center) or MDR (Managed Detection and Response) operation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with substantial project management experience

Responsibilities:

The Project Manager II handles more complex projects with a greater degree of independence than a Project Manager I. This role is instrumental in mentoring junior team members and contributing to the strategic planning of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex project activities for multiple projects across all project phases.
  • Provide communication to internal and external stakeholders on project status.
  • Serve as a mentor to Project Coordinators and Project Manager I roles.
  • Implement project standards across projects for consistent service delivery.
  • Engage in comprehensive project planning and execution with minimal supervision.
  • Assist client transition to steady operations.
  • Refine our methodology based on industry best practices with continuous feedback and well-defined metrics to drive improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Ensure procedural issues are quickly resolved and help implement strategies and solutions to reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation including assessments of risk/reward to the company.
