Job Description:
This project manager oversees multiple projects of a complex nature from original concept through final implementation. In addition to defining project scope and objectives, the person in this position has the opportunity to provide analytical guidance to the project team.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
- Conduct project meetings and take responsibility for project tracking and analysis.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
- Optimize resource utilization and achievement of client expectations.
- Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
- Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions to problems.
- Make decisions on client requirements and schedule changes.
- Ensure budgetary compliance.
- Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 1 year related experience. PMP or equivalent certification required.
Strong experiential knowledge of project planning methodologies. Must have excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to engage project team members to complete tasks and meet deadlines without direct managerial authority
