Overview
Responsible for analyzing and evaluating customer pipeline needs, provide technical review support to the quotation process, coordinate projects from initial stage to final completion to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and that T.D. Williamson (TDW) performance levels are met according to contractual terms and budgetary requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to the internal and external sales teams, including but not be limited to a ‘bundle’ approach involving various TDW services and products, complex subcontractors and vendors integration in a bid package, activities deemed as strategic in business development objectives, and special attention is required to projects in need of a tight control over low-cost margins or delivery schedules.
  • Make regular visits to the project job site and customer to ensure customer satisfaction and field work is running to plan; take corrective action as necessary.
  • Ensure customer invoices are correct and in line with the contract and presented in a timely manner.
  • Develop preliminary scope of project work and execution plan, apply sound project definition, organization, and management skills to pipeline projects.
  • Establish and maintain knowledge of project product/service offerings, pricing, delivery, and technology.
  • Attend site visits and customer meetings as necessary.
  • Identify and coordinate resources (people and equipment) and assign individual responsibilities within the project team, including vendors, sub-contractors and field personnel, engineering etc.
  • Establish, assign, document and communicate project risk level to the customer and services organization on all projects.
  • Collaborate with others on best practices including operational excellence, project management practices, business development, behavior, organization, communication, safety, TDW compliance and extreme customer commitment; drive one TDW culture.
  • Act as technical support for others and assist with training.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other related field and five (5) to ten (10) years of project management experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of ASME and CSA standards.
  • Knowledge of pipeline operations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including working knowledge of project management package software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent commercial and sales skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to work in a team on fast moving projects.
  • Ability to make decisions affecting the overall execution of a services project.
  • Ability to speak English required.
  • Ability to speak French and/or German would be beneficial but not essential
