Description:

GROUP/DIVISION SUMMARY

This Project Management Position is under the Clinical Next Generation Sequencing Division (CSD) which supplies “sample to answer” instrument, software and reagent solutions; has the top position in research markets; and is the market leader in targeted sequencing and clinical Next- Generation Sequencing.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors Degree in Scientific or Business related field. (Ex. Chemistry, Business Management, Supply Chain, etc)
  • MBA is a plus

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of proven track record, preferably in operations-focused project manamgent
  • Demonstrated ability of applying project management software tools (MS Project, Miro, Jira)
  • Must have comprehensive understanding of Document Control Practices (Agile or Equivalent)
  • Prior experience leading FMEA and associated Risk Analysis highly preferred
  • Experience working in an IVD/Medical Device/Biotech/Food industry a plus.
  • Six-Sigma/PMP/CPIM certification is desired

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Operations/Manufacturing aspects of project management activities for new product development and sustaining projects, ensuring key requirements and turning points are met; applying detailed risk management practices, continuous improvement tools and prioritization of resources.
  • Recognize gaps, challenges and inefficiencies that will lead to project success
  • Follow Project Management Framework and corporate processes to complete projects ensuring compliance with all results and project stage gate reviews
  • Deliver the assigned projects to successful conclusion (on time, on budget, and in scope)
  • Identify program risks, assess impact, and implement subsequent mitigation plans
  • Apply standard methodologies and tools for project execution and management
