We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our National Project Team!
As our Project Manager, you will be responsible nationally for the Special Projects Major/Minor Works and project-related Technical Support primarily. The business unit is the key support function to all our branches for Special Hazards Project revenue. You will be responsible for Special Projects day-to-day financial, internal/external customers, design, Health & Safety, technical development, and organise project related technical training within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all field personnel, sub-contractors, technicians and technical resources including design team and fabrication requirements, as needed to ensure efficient utilisation of labour and maximum profit on contracts.
  • Program and administer contracts to achieve maximum returns and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and close project opportunities as well, provide support to enable successful completion of projects and maintain high delivery standards in the relevant market.
  • Gather requirements, deliverables, and timeframes from stakeholders.
  • Agree on priorities with clients.
  • Plan resources
  • Create project plans.
  • Communicate key milestones.
  • Communicate the project plan internally and with the client.
  • Produce reports for management (e.g., performance metrics)
  • Communicate frequently with sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Know the team’s strengths and weaknesses, together and individually.
  • Plan around the team’s skills to ensure end success.
  • Adhere to the critical path and have a plan to mitigate issues that invariably arise.
