Binnie is looking for a Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Delivery Group full time in our Kamloops office, relocation support will be considered for this position.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading project teams from initiation through to completion. You will act as the owner’s representative to deliver a portfolio of projects ranging in scope and complexity, including highways, bridges, road rehabilitation and maintenance. Working closely with the client and their organization, you will procure and lead a multi-disciplined team through the project life cycle.
Your strong understanding of project management methodologies will support your efforts to provide comprehensive project status reports, lead the change management process and accurately maintain project controls.
You will play a key role in a talented and diverse team of Project Managers at varied experience levels. You will provide planning, direction, and reporting for projects to ensure we meet the needs of our clients. You will also utilize your excellent business development skills to maintain strong client relationships and secure new business opportunities. Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the key contact on projects working with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and support staff
  • Leading the development and maintenance of project schedules and coordinating resources
  • Being responsible for monitoring budget and projecting cash flows
  • Proactively supporting clients and anticipating project needs
  • Reporting on project status to the client based on a format that they agree to
  • Ability to effectively participate in or lead business development planning activities
  • Preparing proposals and reports in coordination with our proposal team
  • Provide guidance and instruction to less experienced team members
