Summary
For the program area “Ground-Based Systems ISTAR Solutions,” we are looking for a “Project Manager Key Account / Sales (f/m/d)” to join our team on-site in Aalen or Oberkochenas soon as possible.
The “Ground-Based Systems - ISTAR Solutions” area is responsible for handling national and international customer projects as well as internal development projects for networked sensor solutions for land vehicles and complete solutions for land vehicles.
The assigned interdisciplinary project team consists of members from Finance, Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Production, and Sales. The Sensor Solutions include both established and novel sensor systems as well as innovative software solutions.

Your Tasks

  • Assume the key account role for the SpähFz NG project with the project customer in Germany or a neighboring country (general contractor of the project vis-à-vis the public client)
  • Primary contact for the general contractor (GC) for all contractual components delivered by Hensoldt; if necessary, accompany the GC to meetings with the public client
  • Close communication, coordination, and collaboration with the integrated project team SpähFz NG and particularly its program manager
  • Take on project-related sales tasks/support for German or other international customers on behalf of the program manager through presentations, meetings, participation in trade fairs, technical lectures, and other sales-related events
  • Reporting up to the level of the program and business unit manager

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, or in a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience as a Key Account Manager with a sales focus
  • Professional experience in project management
  • Strong knowledge of military products and particularly sensors for combat vehicles is advantageous
  • Good understanding of military operational principles for land operations is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and diplomatic finesse
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style even under unclear conditions
  • Strong ability to work in and with cross-functional and international teams
  • Fluent in German and English (both spoken and written)
